Camera
Follow a simple connection setup procedure (pairing) to connect to a smartphone that supports Bluetooth Low Energy.
Bluetooth® connection (pairing)
→Connecting to a paired camera
- 1Turn on Bluetooth on the smartphone.
- 2Start “LUMIX Lab” and tap > [Pair The Camera].
- 3On the camera, turn on Bluetooth registration.

The camera is now ready to pair, and the device name is displayed.
- 4Tap [Pairing].
The camera is now paired with the smartphone.
- The paired smartphone is registered as a paired device.
- If it takes time to set up pairing between a smartphone and camera, try deleting and re-registering the pairing information on both devices, which may enable the devices to be recognized correctly.
- is displayed on the camera recording screen while the devices are paired.
When the Bluetooth function is enabled, but a connection is not established with the smartphone, appears translucent. - Bluetooth connections are automatically restored after the camera resumes operation after sleep mode.
- Only the smartphone is needed to establish a connection after pairing is set up initially.
(On the camera,[Bluetooth]must be on.) - Only one camera can be connected at a time, even if multiple cameras have been set up for pairing.
Ending Bluetooth connections
- 1Turn off Bluetooth or end current connections from the smartphone settings screen.
- Pairing settings are retained even after the devices are disconnected.
Reconnecting to a paired camera
- 1Turn on[Bluetooth]on the camera.

- 2Turn on Bluetooth on the smartphone.
- 3Start “LUMIX Lab.”
After a camera in pairing standby is detected, the camera and smartphone are automatically paired.
- To switch cameras to pair with, tap and swipe left or right, or tap an arrow.
Deleting pairing settings
- 1Tap > and select [Delete Connection].
- 2Tap [Delete].
- Also delete the pairing setting on the camera.
Wi-Fi® connection
The smartphone automatically connects to the camera over Wi-Fi when the following functions are used.
- : [Transfer Photo / Video], [LUT Transfer], [Auto Transfer]
- : [LUT] (library operations on the camera)
- A [5GHz-Wi-Fi] toggle button is displayed on the [Camera] screen when connected via Bluetooth with a model supporting 5 GHz connections.
Ending Wi-Fi connections
Perform either of the following operations.
- Tap > [Disconnect Wi-Fi].
- Turn the Wi-Fi function off or end the current connection from the smartphone settings screen.
- This operation can be performed if remote priority operation is set to either (camera) or (smartphone).
