For HC-V785

  1. Touch [Setup].
  2. Touch [INPUT], and enter the Password (6 characters).
    • After finish entering the Password, touch [Enter].
    • If the Password has already been set, * is displayed.
  3. Touch [NEXT].
  4. Touch [INPUT], and enter the same Password again.
    • After finish entering the Password, touch [ENTER].
    • If the Passwords match with each other, a message is displayed.
  5. Touch [EXIT].

For HC-X2/X20

Set the user account and password for entry into the HC-ROP app.

  1. Select the [NETWORK] menu → [IP REMOTE] → [USER ACCOUNT].
  2. Enter the user account name and select [ENTER].

    • Enter the user account name with 31 characters.
  3. Enter the password and select [Enter].
    • Enter a password between 8 characters and 15 characters.
