Improved thermal control algorithm for longer recording time
- The thermal control algorithm has been improved to make it less affected by environmental factors.
* Under certain conditions where the ambient temperature around the camera changes rapidly (for example, when moving from indoors to outdoors or when the camera is exposed to direct sunlight, causing the body temperature to rise rapidly) the video recording time could become shorter.
Other Functionality Improvements and Enhancements
- When [Constant Preview] is set to [OFF], an icon indicating that the preview effect is disabled will be displayed on the shooting screen..
- ISO Auto can be set in the [ISO Displayed Setting] menu in the Custom Menu.

- When Dual Native ISO is set to AUTO, the base ISO sensitivity is now visible on the ISO sensitivity setting screen.
- In both Photo Mode and Playback Mode, the default setting for functions registered to the sub video rec. button has been changed to "No Setting."
* This change takes effect after performing a reset following a firmware update.
* If you have previously customized the Fn assignment before the firmware update, the current assigned function will remain after the update.
- Improved processing time during focus stacking through algorithm enhancements.
Support for RAW video output via HDMI to ATOMOS recorders has been added.
- [8.1K(3:2)], [8.1K(17:9)], [7.2K(3:2)], [5.7K(17:9)], and [4.8K(4:3)] 12-bit RAW video data can be output over HDMI.
