SPD stands for “Source Product Description” Info-frame in the HDMI standard. “SPD Auto Game Mode” reads this flag to activate the feature.
Note: a NVIDIA GPU and PC Graphics Driver which supports this feature is needed.
Q2. Does this mean that ‘SPD Auto Game Mode’ also supports G-SYNC?
No, it is not G-SYNC certified, but supports HDMI 2.1 VRR/HFR with NVIDIA GPUs (GeForce RTX 30 Series).
Q3. What is the recommended Viewing (Picture) Mode?
We recommend ‘Game Mode’, but you can change the viewing mode to suit your personal preference with all the VRR/HFR/Low latency settings remaining optimized.
