Preparations

1. 1Make a Bluetooth connection to the camera.

   Set the camera mode dial to [].

Operation

1. 1Set streaming with “LUMIX Sync”.

   Tap Home [Others] [Live streaming]

2. 2Select a video sharing website and login.
   1. 1) Select [Stream with Facebook] or [Stream with YouTube].
   2. 2) Log in.

   When inputting a streaming destination address manually, select [Stream with RTMP/RTMPS].

3. 3Set streaming details.

   (When a USB Tethering-compatible device is connected)

   [Connection Method]: Selects a connection method from [Wi-Fi]/[USB Tethering].
   [Wi-Fi]: Selecting [Wi-Fi] as a connection method sets the wireless access point the camera connects to when streaming.
   [Streaming Quality]: Sets the image quality that will be streamed.
   [Privacy settings]: Selects privacy setting.
   [Title]: Enter a title.
   [Description]: Enter a description.

   (When a USB Tethering-incompatible device is connected)

   [Wi-Fi Connection Setting]: Sets the wireless access point the camera connects to when streaming.
   [Streaming Quality]: Sets the image quality that will be streamed.
   [Privacy settings]: Selects privacy setting.
   [Title]: Enter a title.
   [Description]: Enter a description.

4. 4Select [Set to the camera].
   • If the message [Unable to confirm security of the streaming address. Continue?] is displayed, check that the URL of the streaming destination is correct before continuing the connecting operation.
   • The settings will be sent from the smartphone to the camera.
   • (When the connection method is Wi-Fi)
     The [Streaming Setup] of the camera turns [ON], and the camera connects via Wi-Fi to the access point.
   • (When the connection method is USB Tethering)
     The [Streaming Setup] of the camera turns [ON].
   • [] is displayed on the recording screen.
5. 5Start streaming.

   (When a USB Tethering-compatible device is connected)
   Connect the smartphone and the camera using a USB cable, and enable USB Tethering in the smartphone setting.
   Select [Start streaming] on “LUMIX Sync”.

   • [] is displayed on the recording screen.

   (When a USB Tethering-incompatible device is connected)
   Select [Start streaming] on “LUMIX Sync”.

   • [] is displayed on the recording screen.
6. 6Stop streaming.

   Select [Stop streaming] on “LUMIX Sync”.

7. 7End the streaming function.
   • If you select [End streaming] on “LUMIX Sync”, the [Streaming Setup] of the camera will be set to [OFF].

Operation

1. 1Set the access destination information on “LUMIX Sync”.

   Tap Home [Others] [Live streaming]

2. 2Select [Stream with RTMP/RTMPS] and enter the server information.
3. 3Set streaming details.

   (When a USB Tethering-compatible device is connected)

   [Connection Method]: Selects a connection method from [Wi-Fi]/[USB Tethering].
   [Wi-Fi]: If you select [Wi-Fi] as the connection method, set the wireless access point to which the camera connects during streaming.
   [Streaming Quality]: Sets the image quality that will be streamed.

   (When a USB Tethering-incompatible device is connected)

   [Wi-Fi Connection Setting]: Sets the wireless access point the camera connects to when streaming.
   [Streaming Quality]: Sets the image quality that will be streamed.

   • Tap [Stream URL] and [Stream key] to display their respective input screen.
     You can touch and hold each input field to select, copy, and paste all information.
4. 4Select [Set to the camera].
   • If the message [Unable to confirm security of the streaming address. Continue?] is displayed, check that the URL of the streaming destination is correct before continuing the connecting operation.
   • The settings will be sent from the smartphone to the camera.
   • (When the connection method is Wi-Fi)
     The [Streaming Setup] of the camera turns [ON], and the camera connects via Wi-Fi to the access point.
   • (When the connection method is USB tethering)
     The [Streaming Setup] of the camera turns [ON].
   • [] is displayed on the recording screen.
5. 5Start streaming.

   (When a USB Tethering-compatible device is connected)
   Connect your smartphone and camera with a USB cable and enable USB tethering in your smartphone settings.
   Select [Start streaming] on “LUMIX Sync”.

   • [] is displayed on the recording screen.

   (When a USB Tethering-incompatible device is connected)
   Select [Start streaming] on “LUMIX Sync”.

   • [] is displayed on the recording screen.
6. 6Stop streaming.

   Select [Stop streaming] on “LUMIX Sync”.

7. 7End the streaming function.
   • If you select [End streaming] on “LUMIX Sync”, the [Streaming Setup] of the camera will be set to [OFF].
