Live stream
Operate the smartphone to live stream the camera’s images and audio over the internet.
You can stream via a Wi-Fi connection with an access point or via mobile/cellular communication on a smartphone.
Video can be streamed to video-sharing sites that support RTMPS*.
*Communication protocol for streaming
- Video cannot be recorded to a memory card in the camera while you are streaming.
Preparations
- Make a Bluetooth connection to the camera.
- With DC-S1RM2
On the camera, switch the Photo/Video/S&Q switch to [] mode.
With DC-GH7 or DC-S5M2X
On the camera, set the recording mode to [].
〈When selecting [USB Tethering] in step 3〉
- Confirm that the camera and smartphone are not connected via USB.
- 1Tap

- 2Select [Stream with RTMPS].
- 3 Set streaming details.
[Connection Method]: [Wi-Fi]/[USB Tethering]
- Selecting [Wi-Fi] as a connection method sets the wireless access point the camera connects to when streaming.
[Stream URL]
[Stream key]- Enter the information provided by the streaming service.
- 4 Select [Set to the camera].
- The settings will be sent from the smartphone to the camera.
- The URL of your streamed video is shown in [Stream URL].
- The [Streaming Function] of the camera turns [ON].
- [
] is displayed on the recording screen.
- 5Start streaming.
When the connection method is [Wi-Fi]
1. Select [Start streaming] on “LUMIX Lab”.

When the connection method is [USB Tethering]
1. Connect the smartphone and the camera using a USB cable.
2. On the smartphone, turn on [USB tethering] (Android) or [Personal Hotspot] (iOS).
3.Select [Start streaming] on “LUMIX Lab”.

- 6Stop streaming.
Select [Stop streaming] on “LUMIX Lab”.
- 7End the streaming function.
- If you select [End streaming] on “LUMIX Lab”, the [Streaming Function] of the camera will be set to [OFF].
- During streaming, the screen is outlined in blue.
