Q. When will the apps no longer be available for download?
The apps will be available for download on Google Play and the App Store until March 31, 2027. After that date, they can no longer be downloaded.
From November 1, 2026, it will no longer be possible to download Panasonic Music Streaming for Android for the first time on smartphones running Android 15 or later. If you have downloaded it before with the same Google account, you can download it again until March 31, 2027.
Q. Can I download Panasonic Music Streaming for Android on or after November 1, 2026?
Yes. You can download the app until March 31, 2027 if either of the following applies:
- You have downloaded the app before with the same Google account.
- Your smartphone runs Android 14 or earlier.
Otherwise (downloading the app for the first time on a smartphone running Android 15 or later), the app can no longer be downloaded on or after November 1, 2026.
Q. How can I check the Android version of my smartphone?
Open Settings on your smartphone and select "About phone" (the name may vary by model). The Android version is shown there. For details, see the instructions for your smartphone.
Q. Which apps and models are affected?
See the list of apps and compatible models
The model number is shown on the back of the unit and on the cover of the operating instructions.
Q. I am not sure whether my smartphone is an Android phone or an iPhone.
If you download apps from Google Play, you have an Android phone. If you download apps from the App Store, you have an iPhone.
Q. Will a replacement app be provided?
There are currently no plans to provide a replacement app. Many of the app features are available through the controls on the unit or other music apps. See how to use app features without the app
«If the app is already installed»
Q. Will I still be able to use an app I have already installed?
Yes. You can continue to use the installed app after downloads end. However, the app may stop working properly in the future due to smartphone OS updates or other changes.
Q. I deleted the app. Can I download it again?
You can download it again until March 31, 2027. After that, the app cannot be downloaded again.
This also applies to Panasonic Stereo System Network Setup and Panasonic Theater Remote 2014 / 2012 on Android 13 or later, as long as you use the same Google account.
This also applies to Panasonic Music Streaming for Android, as long as you use the same Google account you used before.
If you want to keep using the app, please do not delete it.
Q. I am planning to get a new smartphone. Can I use the app on it?
You can download the app to your new smartphone until March 31, 2027. After that, you will not be able to download it to a new smartphone.
To download Panasonic Music Streaming for Android on or after November 1, 2026, to a new smartphone running Android 15 or later, please use the same Google account as on your previous smartphone.
Please note that we cannot guarantee the app will work properly with the OS on your new smartphone.
Q. Will the apps receive updates (bug fixes or support for new OS versions) after downloads end?
There are no plans to update the apps after downloads end.

Q. Will my audio system stop working when the app is no longer available?
No. Features that do not require the app, such as operation with the remote control or the unit's controls and Bluetooth playback, will continue to work as before.
Q. Can I play music from my smartphone without the app?
Yes. You can use the following methods:
- Bluetooth-compatible models: connect your smartphone via Bluetooth and play music from your usual music app.
- Network (Wi-Fi) compatible models: use another music app that supports DLNA.
- Models with Chromecast built-in: play music from apps that support Chromecast.
For questions about third-party apps, please contact the provider of each app.
Q. Can I use speaker group control without the app?
Speaker group control (the AllPlay feature of Panasonic Music Streaming) is only available in the app.
If the app is already installed, you can continue to use this feature. If you have not installed the app yet, please download it by March 31, 2027 (by October 31, 2026 if you want to download Panasonic Music Streaming for Android for the first time on a smartphone running Android 15 or later).
Q. Is there an alternative to the Jukebox request feature in MAX Juke?
The Jukebox request feature is only available in the app. If the app is already installed, you can continue to use it after downloads end.
In addition, someone else can connect their smartphone via Bluetooth and take over playback.
Q. Can I change sound and other settings without the app?
Yes. You can change settings using the controls on the unit. For details, see the operating instructions for your model.
Q. How do I connect my stereo system to a wireless router without the Panasonic Stereo System Network Setup app?
Connect using the controls on the unit (WPS) or through a web browser. For details, see the operating instructions for your model.
Q. I am thinking of buying one of these models. Will it still work?
Yes. Playback from the unit itself and Bluetooth playback do not require the app.
If you want to use features that are only available in the app, such as speaker group control, please download the app by March 31, 2027 (by October 31, 2026 if you want to download Panasonic Music Streaming for Android for the first time on a smartphone running Android 15 or later).
Q. How do I operate my home theater system without the Panasonic Theater Remote 2014 or 2012 app?
Use the supplied remote control or the controls on the unit.
