How to return all settings to the factory defaults?
  1. Turn this unit on.
  2. Press and hold [ ] on the main unit for a minimum of 10 seconds.
  3. "RESET" will be shown until the system restarts.
How to update latest Firmware? Preparation

Download the latest firmware from the following website and store it to a USB device to update the firmware.

(This site is in English only.)

  1. Turn off the main unit, then connect the USB device containing the latest firmware to the main unit.
    Depending on the shape of the USB device, the cables connected to other terminals may obstruct the connection. In that case, unplug the connection cables around the USB device first, then reconnect it.
  2. Press [ ] on the main unit to turn it on.
  3. Press [ SETUP ] repeatedly to select “FW UPDATE” and then press [ OK ].
  4. Press [ ] or [ ] repeatedly to select "YES?" and then press [ OK ].
    The system switches off automatically when the update completes.
  5. Disconnect the USB device.
  6. Press [ ] on the main unit to switch it on.
CAUTION : DO NOT DISCONNECT the AC mains lead while updating the firmware.
During the update process, no other operations can be performed
What to do if there is sound interruption during Bluetooth playback? If there is sound interruption during playback, try one of the followings :
  1. Try to put the device nearer to the main unit.
  2. Try to switch to other input source and back to Bluetooth source again.
    The main unit will re-establish connection with the device automatically.
    Playback from the device again.
  3. Try to start connection from device side.
    Steps :
    - Set the main unit Bluetooth Standby to ON.
    - Power OFF the main unit.
    - Select the main unit (SC-HTB400) from the device to establish connection.
    - The main unit will power on automatically after connection has been established.
    - Playback from the device again.
What to do if there is no audio output from HDMI ARC? If there is no audio output in HDMI ARC Mode, try one of the followings :
  1. Check whether the TV CEC setting is ON.
  2. Try to switch the speaker selection on TV Menu to select between this unit and the TV.
  3. Try to switch to other the TV input source and back to the intended input.
  4. Try to unplug the HDMI Cable and plug in again.
