GENERAL

No power.

  • Is the AC mains lead plugged in?
    ⇒ Plug the AC mains lead in firmly.

There is power but no sound, sound is weak or abnormal, loud and with distorted sound quality.

  • Are device connections and PHONO or LINE output terminal connections correct?
    ⇒ Connect the PHONO output terminals with the amplifier's PHONO input terminals.
    ⇒ Connect the LINE output terminals to the amplifier's external input terminals.
  • Check the setting of the "PHONO" - "LINE/ Bluetooth" switch.

Left and right sounds are reversed.

  • Are the stereo connection cable connections to the amplifier or receiver reversed?
    ⇒ Double check all connections.
  • Are connections of the head shell's lead wires to the cartridge terminals correct?
    ⇒ Double check all connections.

Low, continuous sound (humming or buzzing sound), noise or popping sound is heard during play.

  • Are there other appliances or their AC mains lead near the stereo connection cable?
    ⇒ Separate the appliances and their AC mains lead from this unit.
  • Is the earth lead connected?
    ⇒ When connecting the PHONO output terminals, correctly connect the PHONO earth lead.
  • Is the "PHONO" - "LINE/ Bluetooth" switch set to "LINE/ Bluetooth" when using PHONO output terminals?
    Are cables connected to PHONO output terminals and PHONO earth terminal when using LINE output terminals or Bluetooth®?
    ⇒ Connect one or the other.

The indicator [33], [45] or [ Bluetooth ] continues to blink rapidly.

  • Perform the following operations when the indicator [33], [45] or [ Bluetooth ] blinks rapidly.
    The symptom may be improved.
  1. Press [ ] to OFF.
  2. Pull out the power plug, wait for three seconds or more, and then insert the plug again.
  3. Press [ ] to turn the unit on and press [START-STOP] to rotate the turntable.
  • If the indicator on the speed select button blinks again, check which one is blinking and contact our service representative.

Bluetooth®

Pairing cannot be completed.

  • Check the Bluetooth® device condition.
  • Bluetooth® version 2.0 or earlier Bluetooth® devices are not supported.
  • Is the Bluetooth® device located too far away? ⇒ Move it closer to this unit and try registering again.

The device cannot be connected.

  • The pairing of the device was unsuccessful or the registration has been replaced. Try re-pairing the device.
  • This unit might be connected to a different device. Disconnect the other device and try re-pairing the device.
  • Try connecting the device by pressing [ Bluetooth ] on this unit.
  • Turn off both the unit and the Bluetooth® device once, then turn them back on and try again. If the problem persists, try changing the order in which they are powered on.
  • Try changing the settings under "Bluetooth® settings".
( When using 2 or more Bluetooth® devices alternately )
After turning on the main power and pressing the Bluetooth® button, the main unit will try to connect to the last connected device. If you want to use a different paired device that is not the last one connected, turn off the last connected device and try the following methods.
  • Waiting until READY
    If the main unit is trying to connect to the last connected device, please wait for 1 minute until the main unit enters the READY state, then turn on your desired device. If the last connected device of your desired device is the main unit and the device has the last connected device connection function, the connection will be established.
    * If the Bluetooth® operation settings remains at the factory default "Manual", once 2 minute has passed after the main unit enters the READY state, the Bluetooth® function will be turned off.
  • Re-pairing
    Please re-pair the desired device with the main unit again. The connection will be established.
  • Setting change
    Please try to change Bluetooth® reconnection settings "Auto" to "Manual". If you change the setting to "Manual", the main unit will not automatically try to reconnect to the last connected device when Bluetooth® is turned on. Instead, it will enter the READY status. And then turn on your desired device. If the last connected device of your desired device is the main unit and the device has the last connected device connection function, the connection will be established.
    * If the Bluetooth® operation settings remains at the factory default "Manual", once 2 minute has passed after the main unit enters the READY state, the Bluetooth® function will be turned off.

The device is connected, but audio cannot be heard through Bluetooth® device.

  • For some built-in Bluetooth® devices, you have to set the audio output manually. Read the operating instructions for the device for details.
  • Is the volume of the Bluetooth® device too low? ⇒ Adjust the volume of the connected Bluetooth® device.
  • There are times when it takes a while before sound comes out of a Bluetooth® device. Wait a little more.
  • Turn off both the unit and the Bluetooth® device once, then turn them back on and try again. If the problem persists, try changing the order in which they are powered on.
  • Is the Bluetooth® device connected to a Bluetooth® device other than this unit?
    ⇒ Turn off the power of the other Bluetooth® device.

The sound is interrupted.

  • Bring the Bluetooth® device closer to this system.
  • Remove any obstacle between this system and the device.
  • Other devices that use the 2.4 GHz frequency band (wireless router, microwaves, cordless phones, etc.) are interfering. Bring the Bluetooth® device closer to this system and distance it from the other devices.

The Bluetooth® function does not work.

  • Is the "PHONO" - "LINE/ Bluetooth" switch on the rear of this unit set to "PHONO"?
    ⇒ Check the setting of the "PHONO" - "LINE/ Bluetooth" switch on the rear of this unit.
  • Try pressing [ Bluetooth ] .

The indicator [ Bluetooth ] blinks rapidly three times.

  • Is the "PHONO" - "LINE/ Bluetooth" switch on the rear of this unit set to "PHONO"?
    ⇒ Check the setting of the "PHONO" - "LINE/ Bluetooth" switch on the rear of this unit.

Unable to initialize Bluetooth® pairing information

  • The unit may be connected to the other Bluetooth® devices. Turn off the other Bluetooth® devices and try again.
