Jul. 24, 2024 ► “TIDAL” changes Audio Format (MQA is no longer available).

TIDAL announced that MQA streaming was no longer available from July 24, 2024 with following TIDAL official website. (For reference. you can search for "Upcoming Changes to Audio Formats – TIDAL" )
This change is also applicable in below models.
We change the server setting of HiRes streaming format presented by TIDAL from MQA to HiRes FLAC on July 24, 2024. After setting change, re-login to TIDAL or re-add the TIDAL content registered in favorites (FAV) may be necessary.
Applicable models: SU-GX70, SL-G700M2, SA-C600

"TIDAL" function is no longer available due to a change in the specification listed below models.
We have released the main unit firmware update and dedicated smartphone application "Technics Music App" that removes the "TIDAL" function on Jan, 2024.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused.
Applicable models: SU-G30, ST-C700D, SC-C500, SU-C550, SC-C70
[*]As an alternative option, you can enjoy "TIDAL" function by operating a tablet or smartphone that has the official TIDAL app through Bluetooth or AirPlay connection.
