About a Network Download method

Panasonic is constantly improving the unit's firmware to ensure that our customers are enjoying the latest technology. Please follow the steps to update the unit's firmware.

Downloading takes approx. 5 minutes.
Do not disconnect the AC mains lead or turn this unit to standby while updating.
Do not disconnect the USB flash memory while updating.
  • - The progress is displayed as "Updating %" while updating. ( stands for a number.)
Note
  • - During the update process, no other operations can be performed.
  • - If there are no updates, "Firmware is Up To Date" is displayed.(No need to update it.)
  • - Updating the firmware may reset the settings of this unit.

Update via USB flash memory

Preparation

  • - Download the latest firmware on the USB flash memory. For details, click here.
  • - FAT16 and FAT32 file systems are supported.

Steps

  1. Connect the USB flash memory with new firmware.
  2. Press [SETUP].
  3. Press [ up , down ] repeatedly to select "F/W Update" and then press [OK].
  4. Press [ up , down ] to select "Yes" and then press [OK].
    • – The progress is displayed as "Updating %" while updating. ( stands for a number.)
    • – When the update has finished successfully, "Success" is displayed.
  5. After "Success" is displayed, press the standby/on button on this unit, disconnect the AC mains lead and USB flash memory.
  6. Reconnect the AC mains lead after 3 minutes.
Note
  • - Downloading may take longer depending on the USB flash memory.

Checking the firmware version

  1. Press [SETUP].
  2. Press [ up , down ] repeatedly to select "F/W Version" and then press [OK].
    • – Press [OK] to exit.
