Remote control recording

Howling* may occur if you check an image or sound while the wearable camera is connected wirelessly to a smartphone, etc. Lower the volume of the smartphone if this occurs.

* Refers to a phenomenon in which a microphone outputs an abnormal sound when it picks up a sound from a speaker.

  1. Please prepare your wearable camera and smartphone / tablet by connecting to Wi-Fi®.

1. Start this application and tapiconat bottom of screen

The recording screen is displayed.

  1. Recording information (setting icons, etc.) is displayed on the screen.

2. Tapiconwhen recording a video

Video recording is started. Tap again to stop recording video.

Tapiconwhen taking a still picture

Tap the following icon to switch the angle of view.

icon : [Standard] (This is the normal screen.)
icon : [Wide] (This broadens the range of subjects displayed on the screen.)
  1. When the angle of view mode is set to [Wide], [Level Shot] and [Image stabilization] will be turned off.

It is possible to record a slow-motion video by setting a higher frame rate.

1. Tapicon, then [Record Setup] > [Slow motion mode] to configure the frame rate

2. Tapiconat the bottom of the screen to display the recording screen

Video recording is started. Tap again to stop recording video.

  1. You can't look at the preview while recording. (Image / Sound will not be output.)
  2. Sound will not be recorded.
  3. [Color Night Rec], [Level Shot], [Image stabilization] and angle of view mode cannot be changed.

1. Tapicon, then [Record Setup] > [Interval rec mode] to configure the interval

Start taking still pictures. Tap again to stop taking still pictures.

  1. You can't take normal still pictures / videos while using this mode.
  2. While recording still pictures, the update of Live view image may stop.
  3. Self Timer is disabled.
