Operation
1. Tap
Video / still picture thumbnails are displayed.
- Scroll
(finger drag up/down) screen to display previous/next screen.
will show for video thumbnails.
- Depending on signal strength, screen may take time to display and/or scrolling may not be smooth.
2. Tap a thumbnail to open
The playback screen is displayed.
- Flick
(finger touch and slide) screen left/right to display next/previous image.
- Image name and recording time will show at top of screen.
will be displayed on videos / still pictures protected on video camera.
- Notes
- When playing back video, if the image quality of the video is high or the signal is weak, the playback may not run smoothly and skip frames.
- When copying images from video camera to smartphone, it may take some time depending on the image type and Wi-Fi connection strength.
- Depending on the type of smartphone, you may not be able to save or play. Please check your smartphone specifications to confirm compatible video types.
- When displaying enlarged images, there may be some grid-shaped noise in the enlarged image. This noise appears when the image is enlarged, and it does not mean that there is noise in the original image.
- For videos or still pictures that cannot be played back with this application, the “!” thumbnail will be displayed.
Switching referents
1. Tap

Referent list follows:

* Not displayed when not connected to Wi-Fi. It may take time to be displayed.
Switching thumbnail display recording format
On the thumbnail display screen, tap recording format icon*1 *2 on top of screen to display the following list. You can tap the recording format you want to display to switch the display.
- MP4 *4
- AVCHD
- 24p *3
- JPEG
*1 Icon when [MP4] is selected. The icon will change based on the recording format.
*2 Not displayed when the referent is [Gallery] or [Camera Roll].
*3 Will not be displayed if the recording format does not support it.
*4 Scenes saved in highlights are also displayed.
Using a smartphone to play back videos / still pictures from the video camera on a television
By connecting the smartphone or video camera to a television supporting the DLNA* standard DMR (Digital Media Renderer) function via Wi-Fi, you can playback videos and still pictures of the video camera.
Preparation
- Please see the instruction manual regarding scenes that can be played.
- Please connect the smartphone, video camera and television to the same wireless access point. For setting method(s), please read the related instructions for each device.
- Push the video camera's Wi-Fi button, and touch [Link to Cell]. By the way, it is not possible to use [DLNA Play] from smartphone.
Operation
1. Tap
The thumbnail display screen is displayed.
2. Tap a thumbnail you want to play back and make a selection
3. Tap
on top of screen, and select [Play on TV]
Videos / still pictures are displayed on the connected television, and you can perform operations such as play and stop with the smartphone.

(E) | Skip to the next scene. |
- If multiple devices can be connected, a list of devices will be displayed on the screen. Please select the device you want to connect from the list.
- Notes
- Scenes recorded in MP4 cannot be played.
- Depending on the status of the network, the playback of scenes recorded in AVCHD may not run smoothly.
- The image is not displayed on the smartphone.
- It may take time for the playback to begin.
