Wi-Fi connection

* The NFC (Near Field Communication) function can be used only if the Android™ device in use supports it.

1. Tap the setting icon for the smartphone, and turn the Wi-Fi function on

2. Start this application

  1. iconwill be displayed on screen.

3. Touch the smartphone toiconof the digital camera

  1. When the connection is complete, an image of the digital camera will be displayed on the screen.
  2. When connecting for the first time, the connection confirmation screen will be displayed. Select [Yes] and perform step 3.

1. Press and hold the digital camera's [Wi-Fi] button, and select [New Connection] > [Remote Shooting & View]

2. Tap the setting icon for the smartphone, and turn the Wi-Fi function on

3. Start this application and tap [Wi-Fi] on the screen

  1. The SSID of the connected destination will be displayed.

4. Select the same SSID as the one displayed on the digital camera screen and enter the password

  1. When the connection is complete, an image of the digital camera will be displayed on the screen.

1. Press and hold the digital camera's [Wi-Fi] button, and select [New Connection] > [Remote Shooting & View]

2. Tap the iOS device settings icon and turn the Wi-Fi function on

3. The SSID of the connected destination will be displayed on the screen, so select the same SSID as the one displayed on the digital camera screen and enter the password

4. Press the home button to exit the settings screen and start this application

  1. When the connection is complete, an image of the digital camera will be displayed on the screen.
  1. When changing the connection method, change it on the digital camera.
  2. Since Wi-Fi connection drains battery quickly it is better to recharge before use when power is low.
  3. In some cases, a QR code message may be displayed, but it cannot be used.
  4. (For Android™ devices)
    If the Wi-Fi connection is immediately disconnected, please turn off the invalid setting for poor connection in the Wi-Fi settings menu. (However, this setting may not exist depending on the version you are using.)
