Location logging
Smartphone location information is sent via Bluetooth to the camera, which tags images with this information as you shoot.
Preparations
- Turn on GPS on the smartphone.
- Establish a Bluetooth connection with the camera.
- 1Tap > .
- 2Turn on [Geotagging].
- 3Shoot with the camera.
- Images you capture are now geotagged.
- Semitransparent display of [] indicates that images cannot be geotagged because the location information has not been obtained yet. Reliable GPS signal reception and accurate geotagging may not be possible indoors or if there are objects between the camera and smartphone when you shoot.
- Geotagged images may contain personally identifiable information. Use discretion when uploading these images to web services.
Auto clock set
Sync camera clock and time zone settings with these settings on a smartphone.
Preparations
- Establish a Bluetooth connection with the camera.
- 1Tap > .
- 2Turn on [Auto Clock Sync].
- The time on the paired camera will be synced when you turn the camera on.
