Pairing, Bluetooth connection, and Wi-Fi connection cannot be established between LUMIX Lab and the camera.
On the smartphone, set the location information function to ON.
On the OS setting screen, set the location information to ON, and then activate the permission for LUMIX Lab.
(Android)
In the Settings of the smartphone, go to Location → App-level permissions → LUMIX Lab.
(iOS)
In the Settings of the smartphone, go to Privacy → Location Services → LUMIX Lab.

If the connection is not possible when Location Service is set to “While Using the App”, change the setting to “Always”.

Wi-Fi connection cannot be established between LUMIX Lab and the camera.
Apps installed on your smartphone may interrupt the Wi-Fi connection between LUMIX Lab and the camera.
If you use software that monitors Wi-Fi access (especially security software that guards against viruses, etc.), allow access to the camera.
Please refer to the app instructions for details.
The available recording time display during recording differs from that on the camera.
Depending on the video format, the available recording time display may differ from that on the camera. This is not a malfunction.
Note that the display on the smartphone app is only a guide.
When launching the app after installation, messages to confirm the authorities are displayed.
Permit all since they are necessary for the app to operate normally. These messages will no longer be displayed from next time on.
If you do not permit them, the app will not operate normally. Permit the authorities on the setting screen of the OS.

In the Settings of the smartphone, go to LUMIX Lab → Permission.

(Android) LUMIX Lab cannot connect to Wi-Fi.
When mobile communication is enabled, mobile communication may be preferred on your device, preventing Wi-Fi connection. Please try the procedure below:
  1. In the smartphone setting, enable “Airplane mode” or disable “Mobile networks”.
  2. Make a Wi-Fi connection to the camera.

*If the setup above prevents the Internet communication. Ensure to reset the setting when LUMIX Lab is not used.

(Android) The Wi-Fi connection is disconnected immediately.
If there is a setting of “Avoid poor connections” or “Stable Wi-Fi control” in “Advanced Wi-Fi settings”, turn it off and try again.

(iOS) “Unable to join the network 'xxxxx'” is displayed.
The smartphone cannot detect the network to connect.
Wait a while until the smartphone detects the network to connect, then try again.

Images cannot be saved after editing.
It may not be possible to save images captured by some models of smartphone or in some OS versions.
In the smartphone settings, try changing the shooting mode, so that photos or videos are captured at a lower resolution or video is recorded at a lower frame rate, for example.
LUTs on the smartphone cannot be added to LUMIX Lab.
Make sure the LUT you are trying to add is a 33-grid Cube file, or if it was created in LUMIX Lab, a zip archive.
To check the number of grids, you can use a text editor on a computer, such as Notepad.
Open the CUBE file and confirm that the number listed for SIZE is 33.
