Connect a Mirroring Monitor





This function allows you to mirror and display camera's live view image on up to four smart devices.

[Operate the Sending Device]
  1. 1 Select a [Mirroring] on the sending smart device.
  2. 2 1 Network Setting (Sender)

    b Select [Wi-Fi Setting] and turn on the Wi-Fi hotspot function.

    - On an iOS device
    From smartphone's [Settings], turn on [Wi-Fi] and [Personal Hotspot > Allow Others to Join].
    It is recommended to turn off “Maximize Compatibility”.

    - On an Android device
    From smartphone's [Settings > Network & internet], turn on [Wi-Fi] and [Hotspot & tethering > Wi-Fi hotspot].

    It is recommended to set “Speed & Compatibility” to 5 GHz or 6 GHz. If “Extended Compatibility” is displayed, please turn it off.

    *Depending on the Android device, “Wi-Fi tethering” may be indicated. Follow the model-specific instructions to operate the device.

  3. 3 2Prepare to Send

    After connecting the camera and smart device via USB cable, go to Recording screen and select c[Start Mirroring] from the menu.

    ( USB connection (steps 1 through 5))

    When using the function only for an external monitor, select it from d [External Monitor (USB)] on the TOP screen.
    When using the function for a video production workflow, select it from e [Record (USB)] of the project.

  4. 4 Continue operating the receiving smart device while keeping this screen displayed.

[Operate the Receiving Device]
  1. 1 Select a [Mirroring] on the receiving smart device.
  2. 2 f Select [2Receiver Setup] tab.
  3. 3 1Network Setting (Receiver)

    From [Settings] on receiver's smart device, turn on Wi-Fi and select the hotspot of sender's device.

  4. 4 2Receiving Device Connection Check

    h Select [Next].

  5. 5 i Please make sure that the following smart device is added to the list shown on the sender's device.
[Operate the Sending Device]
  1. 1 Confirm that all receiving smart devices are added to the list on the sending device and select j [OK].

    *When you send an image to multiple devices, perform [Operate the Receiving Device] on other devices. After they are added to the list, select j [OK].

  2. 2 Mirroring will start.
Add a receiving device

A monitor can be added by selecting k[Add Receiving Device] on the sending smart device and following the steps in [Operate the Receiving Device].
Receiving devices can be added even after the mirroring has started.

Exit Mirroring

Select l [Exit Mirroring] on the sending smart device.

m You can display the mirrored image with high image quality. It is recommended to turn this on when you have a good communication environment.

*Depending on the type of SIM card, this setting may not be available.
The connection may become less stable as the number of receiving smart devices increases.
