[Video Intercom System] app overview

You can install the [Video Intercom System] app (Video Intercom System application for smartphone) on your smartphone, and use your smartphone to access features of your Panasonic Video Intercom System.
The following illustrates how your smartphone can connect to your devices over the control box of Panasonic Video Intercom System and over the Internet.

Main features

By installing this app on your smartphone, you can perform the following operations with your smartphone.
When a visitor calls you, you can confirm who the visitor is before talking or opening the door
Pictures can be captured automatically, allowing you to see who visited you
Answering calls from visitors (from the lobby station or door station)
Answering calls from room monitors*1, *2, *3
Answering calls from call centres (on-site SIP phones such those in the facility staff offices, common areas, etc.)
If the SIP phone and gate camera are linked, gate camera images can be checked when there is a call from the on-site SIP phone at the gate
When using arm mode (at home/out), alarm notifications can be received when external devices (sensors, urgency buttons, or emergency buttons) connected to the room monitor are triggered*1
Unlocking doors while answering incoming calls
Viewing the history of registration, incoming call, alarm*1, and noticeboard*4 notifications
Making calls to call centres (on-site SIP phones such as those in the facility staff offices, common areas, etc.)*4
Making emergency calls to call centres (on-site SIP phones such those in the facility staff offices) quickly and easily in the event of an emergency.*4
Monitoring lobby stations, door stations, and optional network cameras*4
You can also talk with the lobby station or door station while monitoring.
Noticeboards (text or images depending on the system configuration) can be received from the facility staff for quick information dispersal.*4

Smartphones are also called when a room number is called from a neighbouring room.

When a "sub" room monitor is installed, smartphones are also called when a "sub" room monitor calls the "main" room monitor. Only "sub" room monitors can call smartphones.
