How to deal with after the 'Guide Plus+' service has terminated

Phenomenon

EPG data change automatically from Guide Plus+ to EPG data from broadcasting station.

  • Message will be displayed on top of EPG, every time.
    This is not necessary to take action.
    You can continue to use EPG and make timer recording.

2013 - 2014models

  The following message is displayed.
"No GUIDE Plus+ date received. Please start the ..."
"GUIDE Plus+ Update via the GUIDE Plus+ Settings ..."
"Menu."

2008 - 2012models

  The following message is displayed.
"No GUIDE Plus+ date received. Please start the ..."
"GUIDE Plus+ Update via the GUIDE Plus+ Settings ..."
"Menu."

GUIDE Plus+ Update

When the function of GUIDE PLUS+ Update is used, the following Menu is displayed.
However this is not a problem. You can return to the original menu and continue to use EPG information.

Termination Notice

Termination information is shown with the procedure below.

The GUIDE Plus+ TV Listings data service will be shutdown in 2016 from June
to September depending on the country you live in.
  • The TV listings data in your GUIDE Plus+ device will be replaced by
    broadcaster's data. Should you have any issue with this transition we
    recommend that you perform a clean install or reset of your device.
    Please refer to your user manual to guide you through the process.

How to make timer recording

- You can continue to use EPG.
