In most cases [Auto (DHCP)] is preferred. In this case, no other settings are available on this screen.

6.
Configure the settings as needed and then tap [OK].
Note:
If you make a mistake while configuring the camera to use a static IP address and you can no longer connect to the camera, reset the camera (Resetting the HD camera’s settings), and then set up the camera again by following the initial setup procedure (see Setting up the HD camera).

[Port Forwarding] settings

These settings are only required if you need to configure your wireless router’s port forwarding feature in order to connect to the camera while away from home.
Important:
In order to use this feature, you must first configure the camera to use a static IP address (Changing IP settings).

Open the options menu (see Displaying the options menu).
3.
Tap [Settings][Wireless Settings].

Tap field number 1 and enter the desired port number.
A value must be assigned to each port.
Only port numbers 62000–63000 can be assigned.
Configure your wireless router’s port forwarding feature to forward these ports to the static IP address that you have assigned to the camera.
7.
When finished, tap [OK].

Deleting wireless access points

The app remembers the SSIDs of wireless routers that you use at home to connect to the camera; it can remember 10 SSIDs, and saves them in the wireless access point list. If the list is full and you try to connect to the camera using a new SSID while at home, the app may connect to the camera over the Internet even though you are at home. In this case, we recommend deleting unused SSIDs from the wireless access point list.
1.
View live images from the desired camera.
2.
Open the options menu (see Displaying the options menu).
3.
Tap [Settings].
4.
Tap [Wireless Access Point].
5.
Select the wireless access point that you want to delete and then tap [Delete].
Note:
You cannot delete the wireless access point that your mobile device is currently connected to.
