Using HX-A100 as a Wireless Sub Camera

Setting of the Sub Camera
1. Connecting to a Main Camera
  1. Press and hold the Wi-Fi/WPS button until all the Wi-Fi mode lamps light.
    • All the Wi-Fi mode lamps will flash.
    • Connection to the Main Camera will start and you will hear a beep.
    • When the connection to the Main Camera is complete, you will hear two beeps and all the Wi-Fi mode lamps will light.
2. Connecting to a device that was not last used as a Main Camera
  1. Press and hold the Wi-Fi/WPS button until all the Wi-Fi mode lamps light.
    • All the Wi-Fi mode lamps will flash.
  2. Press and hold the Wi-Fi/WPS button for 3 seconds or more.
    • The Wi-Fi mode lamp flashes faster.
    • Connection to the Main Camera will start and you will hear a beep.
    • When the connection to the Main Camera is complete, you will hear two beeps and all the Wi-Fi mode lamps will light.

Notes

If you use the Wireless Sub Camera function when [Photography mode] to be used for recording to the SD card of the HX-A100 is set to [1920x1080/60p] or when the HX-A100 is in [Slow motion mode], its setting will changes to [1920x1080/30p].

The HX-A100 cannot be connected as a Wireless Sub Camera while it is recording.

3. Terminating the connection
  1. Press and hold the Wi-Fi/WPS button until all the Wi-Fi mode lamps light.

Note:
Be sure to check that the Sub Window on the Main Camera disappears. This confirms that the Wireless Sub Camera function has been terminated.
