The installation of an audio decoder (G.726)

The procedure of installation

The audio decoder (G.726) is required to playback the MPEG4 titles recorded on computer. The audio decoder will be installed into your computer automatically as following procedure.

  1. Lower the security level of accessing to the Internet.
  2. Install the audio decoder by playback the MPEG4 sample file with Windows Media Player.
  3. Return the setting of security level. (Default is "Disable".)

In detail, Please refer to below procedure.

1: Lower the security level of accessing to the Internet.

1) Open the "Control Panel" then click "Network and Internet Connections".

2) Click "Internet Options" to open "Internet Properties".

3) Select "Security" tab and then click "Custom Level".

4) Change "Disable" to "Prompt" in the item of "Download unsigned ActiveX controls" then click "OK" button.

5) Click "Yes" if warning message of security level is appeared.

2: Install the audio decoder by playback the MPEG4 sample file with Windows Media Player.

Click below "MPEG4 SAMPLE FILE" and the audio decoder (G.726) will be downloaded into your computer automatically.

Even if the following message will be appeared while the audio decoder (G.726) is being installed, it is no problem and you can continue to install it.

With Windows XP Service Pack 2

Without Windows XP Service Pack 2

After installation of the audio decoder, MPEG4 sample file with audio can be played back on Windows Media Player.

3: Return the setting of security level. (Default is "Disable".)

After confirmation of MPEG4 playback, Return "Prompt" to "Disable" in the item of "Download unsigned ActiveX controls" as default setting then click "OK" button.

*The Default setting of "Download unsigned ActiveX controls" is "Disable".
