Over the Air Download

To improve performances, Software for controlling DVD recorders and Blu-ray Disc recorders can be updated via Terrestrial Digital Broadcasting.
To use this function, Terrestrial Digital Broadcasting and its receiver systems are necessary.

<UPDATE procedure>
1	If the” Software update in Standby” in the Setup menu is set to “ON", updating will be performed automatically.
2	Update of the software is done when the unit is in standby mode, it is recommended to leave the unit turned off, when the unit is not used.
3	It may take approximately 150 minutes for software update in the case of Australia, it may take approximately 8 hours in the case of France.

4	During download, "SW-DL" is displayed on the unit's display. When the update completes, the unit returns to standby where the time is displayed. The unit now becomes operative

<Caution>
	During the firmware update procedure do not disconnect from AC power until the update completes. If turn the unit on, the update will be cancelled.
