Precautions for Handling Storage Devices

Careful handling of storage devices can reduce the possibility of card errors and other problems.
*Note: These precautions do not completely prevent problems.

We recommend using a dedicated storage device for each camera.
Issues may arise if the storage device contains both PC files and files recorded on other cameras.
Ensure that you format the storage device using the camera before its use.
This is particularly important when recording high bit rate videos or during high-speed burst shooting as formatting the device in advance provides stable recording.
If you experience slow write speeds, consider performing a physical format.
