SC-HTB700 Firmware Download

Step 2. Download the latest firmware on USB device (continued)

Please download the latest firmware on the USB device in the following steps.

  1. Make a temporary folder on your PC for downloading the file.
  2. Click the following “Download” and save the firmware in the folder you created in the above step.

    3. UPDATE_HTB700_V1_00_07_00.zip / 5,716,901 Bytes

  3. Extract downloaded file.
    • Double click the download file or use extract software depending on your PC setting.
  4. The extracted file HTB700.bin should be 5,715,872 bytes. If the file size is not the same, please download and extract the file again.
  5. Check to see if the file systems of USB device. FAT16 and FAT32 file systems are supported.
  6. Copy HTB700.bin to the root folder of the USB device.

Step 3. Perform the firmware update

Firmware update procedure

  1. Turn off the main unit, then connect the USB device containing the latest firmware to the main unit.
    • Depending on the shape of the USB device, the cables connected to other terminals may obstruct the connection. In that case, unplug the connection cables around the USB device first, then econnect it.
  2. Touch [] on the main unit to turn it on.
    DO NOT DISCONNECT the AC mains lead while one of the following messages is displayed.
    "CHECK %"
    "UPDATE %"
      (" " stands for a number.)
    • During the update process, no other operations can be performed.
      When the update has finished successfully, "SUCCESS" is displayed.
  3. Disconnect the USB device.
  4. Touch [] on the main unit to turn it off, then touch [] on the main unit to turn it on.
    • Adjust the volume to your preferred level.
NOTE:
  • If there are no updates, "NO NEED" is displayed.
  • Updating takes about 30 minutes.
  • You cannot output sound from this unit while updating the firmware.
  • To view the TV during update, change the settings on the TV to have the sound output from the TV's speakers. Refer to the operating instructions of the TV for details.
  • If "PLEASE DISCONNECT USB DEVICE" appears on the display, disconnect the USB device. After that, touch.[] on the main unit to turn it off, then touch [] again to turn it on.
