SC-BMAX5 / SC-BMAX10 Firmware Download

• Please check the above update information and update only if necessary.
• Do not unplug the AC power cord until the update is complete. This may cause the unit to malfunction.
• During the update process, do not remove the USB device for update.

• If your unit will not turn on after updating the firmware, please follow the instructions at the end of step 6 below to perform the recovery process.

Perform the following steps.

• Step 1  Check the software version currently installed in your SC-BMAX5 / SC-BMAX10
• Step 2  Checking the latest software version available for your SC-BMAX5 / SC-BMAX10
• Step 3  Download the latest software
• Step 4  Decompress the downloaded file
• Step 5  Preparing the USB device
• Step 6  Software Update

Follow the steps below to check the software version currently installed on your SC-BMAX5 / SC-BMAX10

Steps
1. Turn on the main unit.
2. Press [INPUT SELECTOR] repeatedly to select "AUX".
3. Set [VOLUME] to the minimum, "0".
4. Press and hold [  ] button until the version number is displayed as shown below.

(Example of “Ver.1.04”)

Please Take note of this number.

Confirm the latest software version that is available for SC-BMAX5 / SC-BMAX10 by referring the "Update Information" section provided above (near the top of this page).
Please compare this software version number to the version number of the software currently installed in your SC-BMAX5 / SC-BMAX10 (the software currently installed in your SC-BMAX5 / SC-BMAX10 was checked in "Step 1").

• If the version of the software installed on your SC-BMAX5 / SC-BMAX10 and the latest software version available are the same
  No update is necessary.
• If the version of the software installed on your SC-BMAX5 / SC-BMAX10 is lower than the latest version available
  Update is recommended - Please continue to step 3.

If the version of the software installed on your SC-BMAX5 / SC-BMAX10 is lower than the latest version of the software available, please download the latest version of the software.
