Update Procedures

    Preparation
  • Connect this unit and the AC adaptor.
  • Connect this unit to the network.
  • - Make sure that the network is connected to the Internet.
  • If the network indicator is blinking in blue and red, wait for it to light up in blue.
  1. Touch and hold [NET] and [] for at least 5 seconds till the operation indicator (amber) starts to blink.
    • The operation indicator blinks.
  2. While continuing to hold [NET] and [], touch [VOICE].
    • During the update process, [NET] blinks slowly.
  3. After the update has finished, [NET] lights up for at least 3 seconds.
    • The unit will restart and the network indicator (blue/red) blinks alternately.
    Caution
  • DO NOT DISCONNECT the AC mains lead while [NET] blinks slowly.
  • An update will require about 8 minutes.
  • It may take longer or may not work properly depending on the connection environment.
  • Updates cannot be performed while this unit is running only on the built-in battery.

[NET] keeps blinking twice.
This unit is not connected to the network. Touch any switch, and then check the network connection.
[NET] keeps blinking three times.
The update has been failed. Touch any switch, and then try again. Disconnect and reconnect the AC mains lead first, and then retry the firmware update.
[NET] keeps blinking fast.
An error has occurred. Disconnect the AC mains lead and reconnect it. Turn the unit on and try again.

You can also update the firmware from a pop-up prompting you to do so on-screen within the app "Panasonic Music Streaming" (version 3.1.0 or later).
