To playback MPEG4 titles recorded on computer

XF decoder for Windows Media Player Ver.10 (WMP Ver.10) has already uploaded.
According to computer environment, problem that black picture is just appeared using WMP Ver.10 may occur.
In case of facing this problem, please download "WMP Ver.10 Compatible" from "the installation of necessary software" as below

Installation of following software is necessary when a MPEG4 playback on computer.

Software	Application	Remarks
Audio decoder (G.726)	Indispensable	Click the left link and Install the software in accordance with the guidance on the homepage.
Windows Media Player Ver.9/Ver.10	Recommend	Click the left link and Install the software in accordance with the guidance on the Microsoft's homepage.
Update program for WMP9	Indispensable, when WMP9 is used.	It may occur that playback of MPEG4 will be stopped approximately four minutes if it hasn't been installed. Click the left link and Install the update software in accordance with the guidance on the Microsoft's homepage.

(*1)The five modes of XF, SF, F, N and E can be used for MPEG4 recording with DMR-E500H. If you playback MPEG4 recorded with XF mode on PC, above "MPEG4 XF mode Decoder" is necessary.
(*2)Unit ID is numerical number as 16 digit.
Confirm indicated unit ID on the screen with E500H when you press [function] button and select [setup] [network] [network function].

After completing above software installation, you can confirm performance for audio & video on the below MPEG4 XF mode sample file.

Note:
Windows Media Player Ver.9/Ver.10 is not indispensable.
However, the software installation for Ver.9/Ver.10 is recommended if below problem has occurred on Ver.8.
Install "Update program for WMP9" by necessity after installation of Windows Media Player Ver.9.
